Rebecca Marcotte, LMT, CYT – Founder, Rebecca’s Journey LLC

Rebecca Marcotte is a licensed massage therapist and certified yoga teacher who has dedicated over 20 years to supporting women’s wellness across Northern New England. Known for her compassionate, holistic approach, she built a loyal client base through her massage and yoga practice, helping women restore balance in body and mind. She studied under celebrated yoga masters Kathryn Budig and Desiree Rumbaugh, shaping a teaching style rooted in strength, grace, and mindfulness.

In January 2022, Rebecca’s life took an unexpected turn. Following a routine exam, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. To reduce the risk of recurrence and spread, she underwent a total bilateral mastectomy—alone in the hospital during a time of strict COVID-19 visitor restrictions. The experience was both physically and emotionally isolating, yet it became a defining moment in her journey of resilience and healing.

After recovery, Rebecca returned to her wellness practice, welcomed by a deeply supportive community. But her experience sparked a deeper calling—to create something meaningful for others walking a similar path. That calling became Rebecca’s Journey LLC, an organization offering intimate, restorative retreats, tours, and events exclusively for breast cancer survivors.

The mission of Rebecca’s Journey is to create nurturing spaces where survivors can reconnect with themselves and others. Each carefully curated experience blends nature, movement, and meaningful connection—encouraging participants to reflect, heal, and celebrate life. From tranquil hikes to therapeutic yoga, candlelit dinners to shared stories, Rebecca’s retreats are designed to restore the body and uplift the spirit.

Today, Rebecca lives in Vermont, where she continues to plan future retreats and foster a growing community of survivors. Through Rebecca’s Journey, she offers not only a healing experience—but a chance to build lifelong bonds and find strength in sisterhood.
